Graduation Details
Graduation will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 3:00 PM, at the Indiana Farmer’s Coliseum located at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
*Student Dress Code: A dress, skirt, and shirt, tie and dress pants are appropriate. No flip-flops, shorts, tennis shoes, or jeans permitted. Seniors wearing inappropriate attire will not be allowed to participate in graduation. After commencement has concluded, students and parents will reunite outside of the Coliseum.
There will be a mandatory commencement rehearsal on Friday, May 31, 2024, at 8:45 AM at the Indiana Farmer’s Coliseum located at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Every senior going through the commencement ceremony MUST attend the rehearsal at the Coliseum. The rehearsal will begin promptly at 9 AM and will end at 11:30 AM. Seniors should plan to stay at rehearsal for the entire time. Early dismissal will not be allowed. *Dress Code: Dress-up event (dress shirt, dress pants, dress, or skirt). No jeans, shorts, flip-flops, or tennis shoes. Do not bring your cap and gown to rehearsal.

On October 5, 2023, there will be a Senior Class Meeting with Herff Jones, the FHS cap & gown vendor.
Senior Yearbook Photo
Class of 2024 Senior Yearbook Photo Information. Seniors, you need to be photographed at Prestige Photography by October 20, 2023, in order to be included in the yearbook.
Senior Community Service Cord
Seniors have the opportunity to earn a special cord to wear at graduation if they complete 15 hours of community service between June 1, 2023, and May 1, 2024. Community service hours are to be documented in a Microsoft Form (form coming soon!) once the student completes all 15 hours. Hours performed for other school service organizations (such as National Honor Society, Student Council, Key Club, Students in Action, etc.) WILL count toward Senior Community Service hours. This form must be submitted by May 1, 2024, to receive a cord at graduation. Examples of Service Opportunities.
Senior Scholarship Cord
Seniors also have the opportunity to earn another honorary cord to wear at commencement. It is a scholarship cord and will be given to any student who has been offered a scholarship for post-secondary studies. Students will need to complete an online form documenting their scholarship(s). The form will be available in the spring.
