Graduation Ceremony:
It is important this senior class has the type of celebration the students deserve.  Over the last few weeks I have surveyed and talked to several seniors about their preferred plan for their commencement ceremony.  The message I heard loud and clear is the students would like as close to a traditional graduation ceremony as possible, even if that means waiting until July to conduct a formal ceremony.

As a result, the plan is still the same as I announced the beginning of April.  Assuming we are allowed to have large group gatherings, FHS will conduct commencement ceremonies on Saturday, July 11 at 9:00 am on our football field. This effort will be coordinated with other public agencies including the Fishers Health Department.  Their guidance will help us determine the details of ceremony.  Details will be communicated at a later date. When talking to students, I know they are excited to have this moment of closure and celebration.

It is hard to believe, in just two weeks, the high school coursework will be done. There will be more opportunities for congratulations and “thank yous.”  Allow me to close this message with a “thank you” to the entire Tiger Family for how you have navigated these last few months, and all you have done theses last four years.  It has been a joy to work with this group of seniors and their families.  I look forward to celebrating the accomplishments of the class on May 29 and July 11. As always, if you have questions or concerns, please reach out to me.

Take care Tigers!
